Environmental Awareness

Updated: Nov 23, 2021

The UK Hosted the 26th climate change conference of the Parties (COP 26) in Glasgow from 31st October to 12th November.

The aim was to limit global warming to 1.5 °C or less and reach net zero by 2050.

As you know, net-zero means not adding to the amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Achieving it means reducing emissions and greenhouse gases as much as possible, as well as balancing out any that remain by removing an equivalent amount as these gases cause global warming by trapping the sun's energy.

At Glen our plan of action is to do our part, this is called Glen Zero.

To measure our impact, we undertook an assessment of the current Glen progress towards net zero, which is some of the work being undertaken by our Social Value & Responsibility Steering Group

This year we introduced Glen Aware Environmental Video to drive awareness amongst our people.
