“I came into the Glen family in 2016 starting my career as a mobile supervisor working along Sue Taylor. For all those years, I built relationships with clients and the team and this led to me being promoted to SDM when Sue retired from Glen.

I have worked for many years in the cleaning business and care industry before joining Glen. I have lived in Bristol for last 16 years and my hobbies include cooking, gardening, and travelling."

Maryann Worsfold | HR Business Partner

“Hi my name is Maryann, I started working for the Glen Group in October 2020 during the Covid pandemic, I had recently been made redundant and was looking for a new challenge, applying for the Operations Support administrators post is where my story began, from day one I enjoyed working with the rest of the admin team and supporting the operations managers.

I had been with Glen about six months when the role of Employee support became vacant and I was asked if I would help cover, I’m glad I did as I found that assisting with the employee issues and queries was something that I enjoyed and got great job satisfaction from, when it was suggested that I took this post permanently I agreed without hesitation, I am so pleased I did as at the end of 2022 I was asked to step up to H R Business Partner which I happily accepted, with the support of the senior management team who have always been behind me with advice and encouragement, I’m looking forward to the future and what is holds for me in the coming months and years ahead and I am delighted that Glen are supporting me to achieve a HR qualification.”
