Twyford Comets on Tour: A 45-Year Tradition and an Action-Packed Start!
Stadium tours, matchday cheers and time with their Dutch hosts—Twyford Comets U14s have packed plenty into their first few days in Ulestraten, proudly sponsored by Glen Group Ltd.
The football exchange has been running for 45 years, bringing generations of young players together through football and friendship. After welcoming their Dutch visitors last year, it’s now the boys’ turn to enjoy the return trip.
Highlights so far include a tour of the PSV Stadium and a trip to watch a match, cheering on RC Genk. Both have added to a memorable few days of football and new experiences together.
Glen Group’s Managing Director, Ross Barnes, has also travelled with the team to lend a hand and support the boys throughout the trip.
There is still plenty of action ahead, with a friendly fixture before their cup final.
We’re delighted to help make this experience possible and share some pictures from the tour. Good luck to the boys for their upcoming matches, and thank you to the coaches, hosts and helpers making it such a special trip so far!
