We would like to record our sincere thanks to Paul Fowler, Glen Regional Director, and Michele Thomas, Glen Regional Manager, for their exemplary and proactive support in addressing a recent safeguarding concern identified within Plymouth CAST secondary schools relating to the actions of a Glen Service Delivery Manager.
Both Paul and Michele responded immediately upon the concern being raised, acknowledging its seriousness, and taking prompt action to investigate further. Throughout the process, all appropriate safeguarding and governance procedures were followed diligently. The Trust’s Chief Operating Officer and Data Protection Officer, Tina Parkes, was kept fully informed through timely updates, providing reassurance that Glen were proactively and responsibly managing the matter.
Following a swift and thorough investigation led by Glen senior managers, Plymouth CAST was updated on the outcomes. All relevant staff were subsequently briefed, ensuring the concerns were addressed effectively and brought to a compliant and mutually agreeable resolution.
