Reflecting on a Remarkable Challenge During National Walking Month

As National Walking Month comes to a close, we are reflecting on an incredible achievement by members of the Glen Group team who took part in the challenging Edale Skyline walk across the stunning Peak District in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.

Earlier this month, Ross Barnes, Managing Director, alongside Richard Bateman and partners from CBRE GWS UK Procurement, completed the demanding 20-mile hike through one of the UK’s most iconic walking routes. The challenge involved steep climbs, rocky terrain, and unpredictable weather conditions, all undertaken to raise funds for charity.

The walk formed part of Glen Group’s continued commitment to supporting meaningful causes and giving back to the wider community. Funds raised through the event are helping to support the important work carried out by the Alzheimer’s Society, alongside additional charitable initiatives linked to the event.
