Ross Barnes, Group Managing Director
I thought that when I was writing this Autumn would have well and truly begun, but the recent good weather has made me think again and enjoy the last of the sunshine before we pull out the big coat and the hot drinks.
October has some really important awareness events including Black History Month and Mental Health Awareness.
I would like to take the time to thank the large number of people involved in the recent ISO Accreditation Audit. The audit was a resounding success with no issues raised and a recommendation that Glen Group should be Re-certificated for the next 3 Years. This is a great result and proves that we are working together on the right track.
Also, this month, as part of our Health & Safety Awareness Training, we are launching a short video on Slips, Trips and Falls. Reporting incidents and near misses, as reviewing our processes and updating our training is a key part of prevention. We have had 13 accidents in 2023 and our aim is to ensure all accidents are reported, so that we can prevent more serious accidents in the future, so take time to remind yourself by watching the training video and keep yourself and others safe.
Rob Kennedy, Commercial Director, has also written a piece on Innovation and Technology, that we are using in Glen to improve our communication and service delivery. We have put this into a video, so that we can share it.
