Making a Difference at Goodrington Beach 🌊💚

On 20th September 2025, Glen Group’s Sustainability Team took part in the Marine Conservation Society’s Goodrington Beach Clean – and what an amazing day it was!

We had Glen Group operatives, our client Kelly Sooben (Vice Principal at South Devon College), and volunteers from ages 3 all the way up to 78 working side by side. Together, we cleared around half a ton of rubbish from the beach — everything from plastics and tins to toothbrushes, cigarette stubs, fishing wire, and even vapes.

A huge shout-out to Emily Bryant, Paul Fowler, and Michele Thomas for making this event happen, and to everyone who joined us, including those who travelled from as far as the Isle of Man, Cornwall, Bristol, and Reading.

This beach clean showed just how much can be achieved when we all work together. Every piece of waste removed is one less piece polluting our oceans — and that’s something to be proud of. 🌍✨
