Gaining feedback from our employees is essential to building a strong, consistent, and stable workforce. Employee engagement provides valuable insight as we shape a better workplace culture and continue improving the way we operate.
We know that engagement improves morale, strengthens feelings of value and respect, and supports continuous improvement across the business.
As part of our ongoing improvement programme, we regularly review our processes to identify more efficient and effective ways of working.
In our culture we want our employees to feel cared for and valued.
While recognition programmes such as awards, appreciation emails, and Local Heroes are important, we also recognise that true value is reflected in how our people feel — through trust, reliability, and confidence that we will do the right thing.
We have listened to employee feedback, including comments relating to payroll processes and communication. As a result, we are undertaking a formal review of our payroll systems this month to ensure accuracy, clarity, and reliability.
Over the coming weeks, 50 employees will be invited to provide structured feedback on what is working well and where improvements can be made. This approach enables us to act proactively and strengthen trust across the organisation.
Our aim is simple: to engage our employees and continue building Glen as a stable, supportive, and high-performing workplace — ensuring continuity and consistency of service for our clients.
Sharing Positive News
We have also introduced a new online internal news link:
This platform allows employees to share news on:
Charity and volunteering initiatives
Community projects and fundraising
Employee milestones, promotions, qualifications and awards
Client feedback
Encouraging the sharing of positive stories helps demonstrate our values in action and recognise the contributions of our people across the business.
