Carbon Emissions Performance, Environmental Management and Reduction Strategy

Glen Group is committed to continually improving its environmental performance and reducing the carbon impact of its operations. Through independent carbon footprint assessments, recognised environmental and energy management systems, and targeted reduction initiatives, we actively monitor and manage emissions across our organisation.

Our carbon footprint is independently assessed by Carbon Footprint Ltd, enabling us to accurately track emissions, identify reduction opportunities, and implement targeted initiatives to minimise environmental impact. Our most recent completed assessment covered the 2023–2024 reporting period, with the 2025–2026 assessment currently underway.

Over the past two years Glen Group has experienced significant business growth, which has naturally increased operational activity. As a result, we are placing increased focus on monitoring and managing emissions to ensure that operational expansion does not compromise our environmental responsibilities. Through initiatives including fleet transition planning, supply chain engagement, certified environmental management systems, and carbon offsetting programmes, we continue to make measurable progress in reducing our overall carbon footprint.

Carbon Reduction Roadmap to Net Zero (2040)

Glen Group has established a long-term strategy to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions by 2040. This roadmap focuses on improving carbon monitoring, transitioning fleet vehicles to low-carbon alternatives, improving energy efficiency through ISO 50001 management systems, and offsetting any remaining unavoidable emissions through recognised environmental programmes such as tree planting.

Through a structured programme of emissions measurement, operational efficiency improvements, low-carbon transport solutions, sustainable procurement, and verified carbon offsetting.

By prioritising the largest sources of emissions—particularly fleet transport—we will deliver measurable reductions while continuing to support the sustainability objectives of our clients.
