Before you can start a new employee we are required by law to collect the following information. No Employee is to start on a site or to be paid until all of the relevant information has been submitted

For a DBS you require

A - Passport (in date)

A - Driving Licence

A - Birth Certificate

B - Utility Bill (3 months)

B - Bank Statement (3 months)

B - Council tax bill (12 months)

B - Mortgage statement (12 months).

B - P45 or P60 statement (issued last 12 months

B - GOV Benefit statement, for example Child Benefit or pension (3 months)

B – Dept. for Work & Pensions, the Employment Services, HMRC letter (3 months)

Right to Work Document

2 Proof of address, they have to be dated within the last 3 months of the start date & the same name & address as the personal details form (For permitted documents please see DBS list above)

Right to work documentation, this is essential as we can get fined £20,000 per employee that doesn’t have the correct paperwork.
